Position: Choice House Paraprofessional
​
Job Summary: Provides support services and job skill training for students aged 18-21.
Job Responsibilities:
-
Assist in the implementation of developed Transition IEP’s
-
Teach self-advocacy, social skills and skills for independent living
-
Present a variety of job opportunities
-
Supervise and teach students in the community at a variety of locations from teacher plans
-
Transport students using a small bus
Qualifications/Skills:
-
Holds a minimum of a High School Diploma
-
Desire and ability to work with students with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational and post-secondary goals
-
Ability to organize tasks and manage time
-
Communicate effectively with students, parents and other staff
-
Valid driver’s license, but CDL not required
Hours: 7.5 hours per school day following East Noble Community School's Calendar
