Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Position: Full Time at our Bright Horizons Program

Location: Kendallville

License: Must have a high school diploma and be able to pass Indiana's paraprofessional test. .

Responsibilities: Assist in implementing the student's IEP, assist in collecting student's data on progress on goals, be able to follow the student's behavior plan, provide academic support as outline in the student's IEP, participate in collaboration with staff, be able to develop rapport with students, and must be able to work with students who have emotional difficulties

Beginning Date: Immediate

SLP VACANCIES

Positions: SLP Full and part-time

Locations: DeKalb, Noble, LaGrange, and Steuben Counties

License: Must have a current Indiana License or reciprocal license to provide SLP service as Teacher of Record or be able to get an emergency license.

Responsibilities: Provide SLP services and complete evaluations for students age 3 through 21.

Beginning Date: Some positions are available immediately and others will be available at the beginning of next school year.

Position: Full Time K- 4th ED Self Contained Classroom

Location: Northeast Indiana Special Education Cooperative

Responsibilities: Manage classroom, write and implement IEP's, do observations and write reports, work with and guide paraprofessionals that work with your students

License: Must have current Indiana License or reciprocal license or be able to get an emergency license

Beginning Date: August 2012

Occupational Therapist

Position: Full time position

Location: DeKalb, Steuben, Noble, and LaGrange Counties

Responsibilities: Complete evaluations, develop service plans with goals, supervise COTA's, , implement services, and collaborate with other Occupational Therapist and team members. Responsibilities will be shared between the two Occupational Therapists.

License: Must have current Indiana License or reciprocal license to provide OT services.

Beginning Date: Immediate
